Greg R. Traver didn’t learn this doctrine in a classroom. He learned it the way most useful things get learned — by building, failing, rebuilding, and paying close attention to why the failures happened. Over years of starting and closing multiple businesses, he developed a working education in commerce, risk, and structure that no single degree could have delivered faster, or more honestly.
The idea behind Online Digital Fortress wasn’t born in a strategy session. It was born in frustration. After forming a Wyoming LLC, Greg was charged significant fees and taxes by his state of legal residence to register it there as a foreign business — the standard advice every entrepreneur is given without question. Reviewing the actual requirement, he realized something the standard advice had missed entirely: his business had no physical nexus to his home state. It created digital products and operated entirely online — no building, no production, no retail location, no in-state employees, nothing to justify the registration he’d just paid for.
That single, expensive discovery became a question, and the question became a doctrine. What followed was long hours of study, research, structuring, and testing — refined into the Triple Shield Architecture this book teaches.
Greg has since built a companion twelve-module course based on the book, walking founders step by step through building their own Online Digital Fortress — complete with the underlying paperwork, licensing agreements, and legal templates referenced throughout, so nobody is left wondering what document needs to be done, or in what order.
He brings one further qualification to this work that no business book requires, but that shapes how he approaches everything: at sixty-four, Greg lives with stage four heart failure. His doctors have called him a walking miracle after he survived three widow-maker heart attacks and heart failure twice — defying medical explanation, and still working full time. He has no formal degree to offer other than what experience has taught him.
Doggedly persist despite the odds, refuse to give up, see it as done. Expect to see miracles and you will.
